A Faberge egg stolen in 1913, is the subject of the quest for Guy and Angel in their second journey back in time. First the duo must secure a job at a top London hotel and track down a German waiter, whose wife the egg was stolen from. Along the way they help a Suffragette on the run and enjoy a fun day in Southend.
The journey takes a damp turn when the trail leads them to Manchester, but it's not all grim as Guy gets to watch his beloved Manchester United against Liverpool, whilst Angel becomes embroiled in Suffragette activity. Who wins the match? What happens to Angel? You'll have to read the book to find out.
